El Paso #69 on 100 Best Places to Raise a Family

I was reading this article on the 100 Best Places to Raise a Family. Who knew Des Moines would place so high at #6 and El Paso at #69. I do wonder where they got their information of "classrooms averaging 16 students or less per classroom" in El Paso. I would like to know where those schools are because I haven't came across a class that has only 16 students in a classroom...much less any classrooms with less students than that. But apparently Des Moines, Iowa ranks high up because of their Education. They are Top 1% for Advance Placement Test scores and Top 6% overall in test scores as far as Education. That seems promising, no? As far as jobs they are a tie for the 4th lowest unemployment rate in the U.S. probably because they are known for their Insurance Industry.(Watch Video)

So take a look if you plan on raising a family soon and plan on moving out of your city.

China Controls Weather for Olympics

It is so crazy to think about the amount of things we are able to control nowadays. With technology on the rise, we are now even able to control the weather. Pretty unbelievable, right? Beijing, China is doing its best to control its weather for the Olympic games, making sure nothing messes the special events, especially not mother nature. Chinese scientists are doing their best to prevent rain or any sort of storms happening that day by " blasting the sky with silver iodide, hoping to shock rain from the clouds."
