3. Thou shalt turn thy cell phone off during public performances. I'm not even sure this one needs to be said, but given the repeated violations of this heretofore unwritten law, I felt compelled to include it.
(Especially during the movies. The light, not to mention lack of attention is terribly annoying!)
5. Thou shalt not dial while driving. In all seriousness, this madness has to stop. There are enough people in the world who have problems mastering vehicles and phones individually. Put them together and we have a serious health hazard on our hands.8. Thou shalt not grow too attached to thy cell phone. For obvious reasons, a dependency on constant communication is not healthy. At work, go nuts. At home, give it a rest.
10. Thou shalt not slam thy cell phone down on a restaurant table just in case it rings. This is not the Old West, and you are not a gunslinger sitting down to a game of poker in the saloon. Could you please be a little less conspicuous? If it rings, you'll hear it just as well if it's in your coat pocket or clipped on your belt.

"Volume One introduces a boy and girl choir hell-bent on making music the old-fashioned way: by hand - and with as few machines as humanly possible." -Merge RecordsFor more on She & Him and to listen to their beautiful tunes, visit their website or myspace.

Honestly, one of the reasons I loved this book and remember it till this day was because of the famous name "Tikki Tikki Tembo-no sa rembo-chari bari ruchi- pip -peri pembo," which means the 'most wonderful thing in the whole wide world.' I loved the way it would sound to say the name. Try it! Basically this story is a retold "old Chinese folktale on how the people of China came to give their children short names after traditionally giving their "first and honored" sons grand, long names." It's a cute story that I'm sure you'd love.
You know that warm fuzzy feeling you get sometimes? This is one of those books that gets you feeling all fuzzy inside. It's a very soothing book to read especially when you are reading to a young one who is about to go to bed. It goes through the story telling goodnight to everything in the room. A good....book....to make....you....want to ......fall...................asleep.................
Tell me who hasn't seen these Scary Story books?! It is filled with many spooky stories that usually 2nd-4th student would love to hear. They are chilling stories and especially with Stephen Gammell's illustrations. He has a collection of these Scary Stories so they keep on coming.
